Beautiful place with perfect lakes for swimming, fishing and more. Everyone there was friendly and welcoming. 20 min drive to massey where you can hike at chutes provincial park. Dragonfly resturant is good and grocerystore is there also. Perfect getaway will definitely be back.
I stayed at Cutler Lodge in Espanola during the winter and had a truly lovely experience. The lodge is very charming in the colder months. It was quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful winter scenery that makes it feel like a real retreat. We even saw stars. The accommodations were warm, cozy, and very comfortable, which was exactly what you want after being out in the cold. Everything was clean and well maintained, and it was clear that a lot of care and attention goes into the space. The calm atmosphere made it easy to relax and unwind, whether you were warming up inside or enjoying the stillness of the snowy surroundings. What really stood out was how welcoming and thoughtfully run the lodge feels. It’s the kind of place that makes winter travel feel comforting rather than inconvenient. Cutler Lodge is an excellent choice if you’re visiting Espanola in the winter and want a peaceful, cozy place to stay. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet winter getaway.
The ovners(and management) are great people, very friendly and very helpful with anything. Our cottage was renovated recently and very clean. Beautiful lakes around. Great place to gateway from big city and enjoy nature.
We’ve stayed here as a family several times and finally got around to leaving a review — because this place truly deserves it. Every time, we’ve been extremely happy with the experience. The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuine, and the place itself truly feels like home. We love spending long weekends here — it’s very quiet, peaceful, and looks like something straight out of a picture. If you’re looking to escape the city and truly recharge, we highly recommend this place.
I recently had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cutler Lake Lodge. After a terrible experience at an Airbnb, I called Cutler Lake Lodge in the early morning hours and they graciously picked up. They quickly accommodated me, and I was so grateful. The lodge is beautifully situated with breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding nature. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure our every need was met. Activities like fishing, hiking, and kayaking were easily accessible and thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend Cutler Lake Lodge for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

Had been with family for the long weekend. Very friendly owners and the place is clean. If you are looking for safe and nice outdoor experience, this is highly recommended. The owners are very nice and helpful. The place is like being in the wild and has good collection of fishes for fishing. Enjoyed every moment of the stay and will surely visit again.
This place is absolutely gorgeous and serene. It's off the grid, so perfect for those who want to unplug for a little while. It's family friendly, and the hosts are the nicest people you'll ever meet. Amazing stay and we will definitely be visiting again :)
